Crank (The Gibson Boys #1) by Adriana Locke
This is one mistake Sienna Landry can’t buy her way out of.
As Walker Gibson looks at her, then at the damage to his precious truck (that she may or may not have accidentally inflicted), she knows she’s in trouble. It’s not the busted headlight and dented grill that’s sunk her though. It’s the downright sinful man in front of her that’s the problem.
The small town mechanic is broody. Rough. Smells like engine grease and gasoline and Sienna isn’t sure why that’s so sexy, but it is. It so is. She’s ready to peel off her panties at the drop of his wrench.
He wants her too. She can feel it when he brushes against her. Experience it as he presses her against the wall of the shop. It’s thinly veiled in his deep, brown eyes when he looks at her like she’s everything he’s ever wanted. So why won’t he give in?
The damage to Walker’s truck is the first of many mistakes between the two of them, ending with truths that rock Sienna’s world. Nothing can fix her broken heart except the love of a man that won’t, maybe even can’t, love her back.

How did I not discover this series until now? I must be living under a rock. I am totally in lust with these Gibson boys.
After launching her successful business with her best friend (which has to bail on her early due to family issues) Sienna literally smashes her way into Walker’s life. Not on purpose, completely by accident. Desperate for the authorities not to get involved, Sienna offers to pay for the damage she has done. When she shows up at his shop to pay for the damages, she ends up making another mistake which ends up costing Walker’s shop money. To rectify her wrongs, she offers to work for him to pay off his loss. Easy right? S
Walker has had his heart closed off for years. He refuses to open that door again, nothing is worth the heartache and destruction that women can leave behind. That is until Sienna. He can’t stop thinking about her. She is everywhere he turns. I am just saying, he can work on my engine anytime…..
Their attraction for one another isn’t anything they have felt before. So what are they to do?
Things are going great. For the first time in years, Walker is interested in a future. One he never thought he would want and he wants it with Sienna. In order for him to do so, he has to deal with his past. That is until his past catches up with him leaving Sienna devastated.
Sienna is discovering where she fits in her world and what she wants to do with her life. Walker is discovering he hasn’t been living his life, he has been stuck, going through the motions. Their journey is a beautiful one. I loved the foreplay between Sienna and Walker. The foundation of their friendship. The angst, the moral support from their family and friends.
Such a great read and I can’t wait to read more of these Gibson boys.
