Midnight Blue by L.J. Shen

It should have been easy.
I needed the money. He needed a babysitter to keep him from snorting himself to death.
I was cherry-picked especially for him. Responsible. Optimistic. Warm. Innocent.
The worst part is that I should have known better.
Alex Winslow. British rock star. Serial heartbreaker. Casanova with whiskey eyes.
“Don’t get near the devil in a leather jacket. He’ll chew you up and spit you out.”
Guess what? I didn’t listen.
I signed the contract.
World tour. Three months. Four Continents. One hundred shows.
My name is Indigo Bellamy, and I sold my soul to a tattooed god.
Problem was, my soul wasn’t enough for Alex Winslow. He ended up taking my body, too.
Then he took my heart.
Then he took my all.

Pet’s $0.02

Alex is a complete and total asshole and I absolutely loved everything about him. He was such a dick to everyone around him, especially his “babysitters” and bandmates. He’s just so incredibly rude, every time I thought I was starting to like him he’d make some messed up comment that trashed it all. I didn’t think there was any way that Indy and he would ever like each other, let alone declare a truce.

Indy is almost the complete opposite of Alex. She’s almost too good to be true, but she's not near as naïve as she seems. That woman has a backbone of steel. Well, she does until the constant barrage of Alex’s personality against hers destroys it.

What I can say, is this book left me completely satisfied. Kind of like I’d imagine a night with Alex would. Damn, that man is a whirlwind.

Oh, and for the audiobook fans. Shane East knocks the narration of Alex out of the fucking park. I’m a fan for life!
