Rory (Savage Brothers MC - Tennessee #3) by Jordan Marie
Noah was everything to me.
When we were together, the world faded away.
He made me remember the girl I used to be.
Being with him, helped me find myself.
But, our love was like a war—
Each side fighting for survival.
I still crave his touch.
He still wants my body.
But Noah’s out for revenge.
I’m tired of fighting.
I don’t have a battle plan.
I’m just stuck in the crossfire with no way out…
I don’t usually like to do this, but I’m going to have to insist that you read Diesel, book two in this series, before you read this book, or you won’t appreciate the full fucked-upedness that surrounds these two people.
Rory really deserved more than she got from Noah/Diesel. Noah treated her like shit and she was nothing but honest and way too forgiving. I’m not saying that Diesel is a bad guy, but he makes her work hard for his attention and if anyone should have had to prove themselves it was him. Rory had a lot less control over her life than she thought, and Diesel made some obvious mistakes when he left the protection of his club. Both were serious errors.
This is a well-paced MC book with the requisite tensions between clubs, hidden agendas, total assholes that seem to be hiding around every corner and unexpected betrayals. Something you can definitely sink your teeth into and enjoy. But, I will say there were a few storyline threads that were left open and I can’t wait for the next book to hopefully find out the answers I need.
