He kept his salacious secret for years. But soon, everyone is going to be reading about it in their morning paper…

THE VARLET (and the VOYEUR)

William Moore is a long way from home. A farm boy from Oklahoma, he’s now the most well-respected member of the Irish rugby team. But appearances are often deceptive, and Will isn’t the clean-cut, all-American good-guy everyone imagines him to be. He’s got a secret, one that will tarnish his reputation forever.

THE VOYEUR (and the VARLET)

Josey Kavanagh is a self-proclaimed mess, but she’s finally getting her shi… uh, act together. She’s set her sights on becoming a veterinarian, but there’s one teeny tiny road bump. Her living arrangements are coming to an abrupt end, leaving Josey homeless and in need of a job to pay her way through college.

THE PLAN

What he needs is a companion to keep him on the right path.

What she needs is an apartment with free rent.

Will is convinced Josey will make the perfect companion, since she’s brutally honest and basically ‘just one of the guys.’ Josey is convinced she can ensure Will doesn’t succumb to his voyeuristic proclivities by keeping a scrupulous eye on him.

Except, what happens when the varlet is tempted by the voyeur, and vice-versa?!

Perchance something very, very volatile. And vexing.

The Varlet and the Voyeur is a full-length romantic comedy novel, can be read as a standalone, and is the 4th (and last) book in the USA TODAY bestselling Rugby Series.

K3’S $0.02

I am a huge fan of this series and sad it has come to an end. This last book definitely didn’t disappoint.

The definition of Varlet: Noun- means attendant Origin is Middle English: “male servant, groom, knight's attendant”

Definition of Voyeur; Noun- 1: one obtaining sexual gratification from observing unsuspecting individuals who are partly undressed, naked, or engaged in sexual acts; broadly : one who habitually seeks sexual stimulation by visual means

2: a prying observer who is usually seeking the sordid or the scandalous

Josey is a bit of a mess, I take that back, she is a HUGE mess. She isn’t your typical beauty. She is honest, has a huge heart but is completely and socially awkward, especially when she is talking to handsome men. Still living with her parents and working hard to finish school, she finds herself in a bind and soon to be homeless. Now she has to get a job to pay for her schooling as well as paying for a place to stay.

Being a professional Rugby players has its perks but it also has it downsides. William Moore cares for his team, he enjoys his job and his passion is helping those less fortunate. The thing is he doesn’t date, he is closed off and keeps to himself. His personal life is private, he can have any women he wants when he wants and never indulges. He has a secret and when an article is published and his secret indiscretions come to light, his All American boy reputation is gone.

Will worked hard to get where he is today. A country boy from the state of Oklahoma having nothing to having it all. He along with Annie and Ronan, Bryan and Eilish work hard to clear his name.

Her best friend Eilish’s husband Bryan has an opportunity for her. He is doing this not only for Josie but for his teammate and most of all his sanity. This opportunity will be one that will turn Josie’s life upside down.

The solution is Josey.

She is dumbfounded that he wants her to keep him in line. He is intrigued by her honesty and awkwardness. She keeps him in line and she has a free place to stay. The Varlet and the Voyeur, the beginning of a beautiful business relationship until it starts turning into so much more.

Josie made me laugh and cringe. Her awkwardness was sometimes painful yet entertaining to watch. It likes a bad accident, you just can’t turn away.

Will was a tough one for me. He was awkward as well, stiff and very unemotional when it came to certain things. I loved how Josie was able to bring his emotions to the surface. I loved how comfortable he made Josie in her own skin.

Without knowing it they are yin and yang, two peas in a pod.

Their journey from a business relationship to friendship to much much more was hilarious and sexy.

A must read!
