Falling In Between by Stevie J. Cole
What do you do when you wake up in a hotel room beside a tattooed man with a face that makes Tom Hardy look like the bottom of a shoe ?
You fight through your tequila-induced haze, trip over his designer suit crumpled on the floor, and run.
After all, you’re 1500 miles from home. It’s not like you’ll ever see him again.
Unless you’re me.
Fast forward six months and I somehow find myself in the middle of a bet with Mr. Tall, Dark, and Tattooed that includes me owing him four dates. Four dates with an arrogantly charming man who I know little about, what could possibly go wrong?
Oh, I don’t know, maybe falling asleep in his arms on date three and realizing I’m in love with a man who doesn’t even know my real name.
Stevie J. Cole spun out this contemporary romance like no one’s bizness.
Gripping us from the start with a hot one-night stand with our dream guy - well mine anyway. And luckily my dream continues being my dream guy as he doesn’t turn out to be one-night chump.
I was slightly alarmed I wasn’t going to be engaged when I figured out it was about a divorced old hag. Turns out it wasn’t any of that. Our heroine turned out funny and dynamic and not a depressed dried out old lady.
The best part was there was no unnecessary drama. Our hero was my hero by not letting anything get to be a big deal. It was refreshing, entertaining, sexy, and great for a good giggle or two.
