Reckoning (Vincent and Eve #2) by Jessica Ruben

Vincent: Forgetting about Eve was the plan. Finding her at a party on my college campus was the last thing I expected.

But letting her go again isn’t an option—not this time. Juggling the life I want with the one I was born into may be near impossible, but for her, it's a risk I'm willing to take.

My world has turned into a house of cards, where one wrong move can send it all crashing down…and us with it.

Eve: Finally at a prestigious university—and on the path to living my dreams—I’ve left the darkness of the Blue Houses behind. Still, a whole new host of problems await me.

Vincent is here.

He's king of the school, complete with a society princess by his side. I thought I wanted to know what he was hiding, but unlocking his biggest secret leads me into entirely new territory laced with danger
and I’m not sure I’ll survive.

RECKONING is book two of the Vincent and Eve Trilogy. You will need to read RISING, book one in the Vincent and Eve trilogy, in order to enjoy this sexy and heart pounding romance.

ellie's $0.02:

One of the best authors and series breaking into the scene in 2018, we have book #2 by Jessica Ruben in the Vincent and Eve series.  And yes, you must read the first book before attacking this one.

Book #2 we get deeper into the bowels of Vincent.  Which had my bowels tensing.  I think I want to use a different analogy.  Because we weren't in Vincent's physical bowels.  But we definitely went deeper into the darkness and secrets of Vincent, his family, his past, his future... and I guess maybe his intestines in a way.  More like his brain though.

This one brought us up another level of intensity.  Of angst.  Of emotion. It's gripping. It's romantic, it's infuriating.  BTW.  My spellcheck is turned off, hopefully I spelled all that right.  The chemistry with Vincent and Eve is gripping and the plots, twists, and secrets just keep dropping on Eve. I love it.

Each book picks up right where the last one left off (did I just give you a foreshadow of book #3?) and each one just brings the story up another level.

Jessica is an author to WATCH.  Trust me.  This series is blowing readers away without question.  She has blown my mind without doubt.
